It’s the fur-st ever festival of its kind, a vibrant winter night out to shine a light on joint health for our four-legged best mates.

The Waiver
Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk
I hereby acknowledge and fully understand that participation in Dogs After Dark, Powered by Antinol involves inherent risks, including but not limited to injuries to myself, my dog(s), or others, dog fights, dog bites, falls, environmental hazards, and other unforeseen incidents. By entering the Dogs After Dark festival grounds, I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in this event.
I agree that I am solely responsible for the behaviour and actions of my dog(s) at all times. I understand and agree that my dog MUST be on lead at all times unless otherwise signed. If found that my dog is off the lead, I understand and agree that we will be evicted from the event and denied entry back in. I acknowledge that my dog must be under my control at all times, even in designated off-leash areas.
I understand that attending this event with my dog comes with the risk of exposure to infectious and zoonotic diseases (those that can be passed between animals and humans). I acknowledge that while event organisers promote responsible pet ownership and hygiene, they cannot guarantee the health of all attending dogs. I confirm that my dog is up to date on vaccinations and in good health before attending. By participating, I voluntarily accept all risks related to disease exposure and agree that the event organisers, sponsors, and venue are not liable for any illness or health issues that may affect me or my dog.
I understand that all dogs under my care are my sole responsibility, and I acknowledge that the maximum of 2 dogs are allowed per person. A minimum of one dog per person is required for entry to the event.
Behaviour and Removal Policy
If my dog displays the slightest behavioural issues or aggression towards other dogs or individuals, I understand and agree that event staff have the absolute authority to remove my dog from the premises without question. I accept that this decision is final and is in place to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants.
All children attending the event must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Additionally, all attendees, including children, must treat dogs respectfully and mindfully.
I acknowledge that all dogs are different and have unique temperaments. I agree that I will not pet or approach other people’s dogs without explicit permission from the owner.
Participation in Canine Sports and Play Areas
I acknowledge that participation in any canine sports, agility courses, or play areas provided at the event is done at my own risk. I understand that these activities may involve physical exertion, obstacles, and interaction with other dogs, which could result in injury to myself or my dog(s). This includes the high risk of my dog falling off or being injured by equipment such as the A-frame, seesaw, hurdles, weave poles, or any other agility equipment. I accept full responsibility for any incidents or injuries that may occur during these activities, including falls or injuries caused by the use of this equipment, and agree to supervise my dog(s) at all times while participating. By participating, I voluntarily assume all risks and agree that the Agility Club, event organizers, sponsors, and venue are not liable for any injuries, illnesses, or associated costs resulting from these activities.
I acknowledge that bringing my children to this event carries inherent risks, including the potential for dog bites or other injuries. I understand that interactions between dogs and children can be unpredictable, and I take full responsibility for supervising my children at all times. I also acknowledge that it is my responsibility to ensure that my children ask for permission before petting any dog, especially those they do not know. I recognize that my children are at an increased risk due to their size and lack of experience with dogs, and I agree to ensure their safety. I understand that the event organisers, sponsors, and venue are not liable for any injuries to my children caused by dogs.
By signing below, I hereby release, waive, and discharge the event organisers, sponsors, venue owners, employees, volunteers, and any associated entities (collectively referred to as “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, damages, or causes of action, including but not limited to injury, illness, loss, or damage to personal property or pets arising from my participation in this event.
I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims arising from my own actions or those of my dog(s) during the event.
I certify that I am at least 18 years of age, or that I am the parent/legal guardian of a minor participant, and that I have read and fully understand this waiver and its terms. I voluntarily agree to these conditions by ticking the box below.
Event Terms & Conditions – Dogs After Dark
Please read carefully before purchasing your ticket.
Dogs After Dark is a weather-dependent event. If wet weather is forecast, the event may be cancelled for safety and comfort reasons. The decision to cancel will be made by the event organisers and communicated as early as possible via email and social media. If the event is cancelled due to rain or other unforeseen circumstances, no refunds will be issued. By purchasing a ticket, you accept that cancellations may occur and understand that tickets are non-refundable in the case of event cancellation. We will, however, mail out the free goodies that would be included in the sale of the ticket. If the event is cancelled, please email info@antinol.com.au to claim your goodie bag.
