| At 22, I got my first dog and wanted a way for us to stay active together. That’s how I stumbled into the world of dog sports. Over the past eight years, my husband and I, along with our four dogs, have immersed ourselves in training, learning, and growing as a team. We’ve dabbled in various disciplines, but our true passion lies in Sled Dog Racing—yes, it exists in Australia! What draws me in is the deep partnership between musher and dog; the trust built on the trails is unlike anything else. The sport also feeds my love for the outdoors, with each race bringing new camping adventures—some incredible, some downright questionable! My journey has taken me to hidden corners of Australia, and soon, across the world. Inspired by the belief that "if you can dream it, you can do it," I am set to compete at the IFSS World Championships in Wisconsin in 2025. | |
