About Us

They say dogs and their humans tend to be similar-  Kona and I definitely share a love for keeping busy and active, exploring the outdoors, running, hiking, camping, learning new skills. There’s always something to do!

We train and compete in various dog sports like Canicross, Lure Coursing, Scent Work, Trick Dog, Agility, Rally Obedience, and RATG.

Kona is also a Medical Alert Assistance Dog in Training, detecting low blood sugar levels for Helen’s partner Simon who lives with Type 1 Diabetes.

With Helen being co-founder and President of social running with dogs club Canicross Melbourne Inc, Kona is a seasoned lead dog for new teams, finding their paws in the sport!
